Do you need assistance with your emission testing? | We offer FREE Code Retrieval
Have you failed or have a check engine light? Find out why your Check Engine is on with OBDII Code Retrieval. The “check engine” light is part of your vehicle’s onboard diagnostics (OBD) system. When it finds a problem in the electronic-control system that it can’t correct, the computer turns on a yellow warning indicator that’s labeled “check engine” or similiar, or shows the international check engine symbol.
In addition to turning on the light, the computer stores a “trouble code” in its memory that identifies the source of the problem, such as a malfunctioning sensor or a misfiring engine.
The five most common check engine problems:Faulty oxygen sensor
Loose or faulty gas cap
Faulty catalytic converter
Faulty mass airflow sensor
